There were also scenes filmed in Wales, including the Shell Cottage scene in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Much of the scenery around Hogwarts was filmed in locations across Scotland. There are a large number of Harry Potter filming locations in England, including London, southern England, and Yorkshire.
Other scenes were filmed and put together digitally at the Warner Bros film studio just outside of London. Many real-world locations were used for scenes in the movies, including Hogwarts, Diagon Alley and more. The Harry Potter films were filmed in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
